Halloween Night

One of the things we enjoy most at RVCC is putting smiles on faces.  We decided ten years ago to leave the lights on during Halloween night.  Jesus talked about letting your light shine so that everyone could see it.  And that has been our desire.  We put hours, weeks, and even months into this one night so that our community will know that they are loved by us the church, and most importantly Jesus.  We want it to be something special that the church does for the community.  So many associate Halloween with terror, with fear, and with lots of other things that are contrary to our faith.  We want to share peace, love and joy.  And if children are smiling and happy, and if moms and dads are able to take their families out to a fun event that leaves joyful fun filled loving memories with family, then we've accomplished what we set out to do.
