July 16, 2020 (updated)
Covid-19 / Corona virus has changed public gatherings in BC including the way we host church services.
We have only recently (June) been allowed back into our church building to have small services with 50 people or less.
Our church services will continue to be online in Facebook on our River Valley Community Church page.
Every Sunday at 10:30 am the service will air live from our sanctuary, shared in a Facebook 'Watch Party'.
We will follow all recommended governmental guidelines with the utmost integrity.
When you come to church you can expect the following:
Maximum 50 people in attendance.
Physical distancing is in effect (2 metres apart).
Hand sanitizer is available as soon as you enter.
If coffee is available, it will be served to you.
Certain rows are blocked off and if you share a row with people other than your family there should be 3 chairs between you and them.
No hugging, no handshaking, please just wave.
Fellowship and visiting are encouraged from 2 meters distance (2 arms lengths).
Please enter and exit through the front doors.
Once the service begins, recording commences.
If you or your family member are sick or coughing please do not attend any services until you are well.
Please note: All or parts of this information document may change at any time as new situations arise or government requirements are made known to us.
